Students, high school through college, were invited to submit completed one act plays for consideration in Horizon Theatre Company’s New South Young Playwrights Festival Contest.

20 playwrights from across the US were selected to participate in the New South Young Playwrights Festival at Horizon Theatre in the trendy Little Five Points area of Atlanta.

This week long festival included playwriting workshops, seminars, and rehearsals with professional theatre actors, directors, and playwrights.

The New South Young Playwrights Festival (NSYPF) culminated in a show-stopping short play festival! These winning plays were written by college-age playwrights all across the country and performed by professional actors.
